Watching for open doors

2020 was a year that none of us will soon forget, and 2021 is providing open doors and opportunities.  Challenges can be negative or positive, but how we approach each issue speaks to our thoughts about outcomes.  I am CHOOSING to find the positive.  I would encourage all of you to CHOOSE to find the positive and the open door.  Jim Flynn sent through this image to me and immediately I was drawn to it.  It feels like it is filled with symbols.  A black & white image helping me to keep focus.  Gates that are open for a new journey to begin.  No one is evident because the choice is ours to make, alone and once we make our decision then our supporters will come out of the woodwork.

So here is to positivity, open doors, working hard and looking for opportunities.  I look forward to all of the collaborations that are ahead, so let's get going!

Are you in or are you out?

Aren't we always looking to be included?  I don't know a lot of people that truly are "okay" if something is going on and they are not included.  It's like Civil Rights - we are all to be afforded the same rights - no matter what.  That's pretty powerful.

We are ALL supposed to be welcomed and included.

Nature is one place that are all welcome.  In some cases, it is harder to jump in and be involved if one is dealing with a disability, yet there are ways to work around or conquer that obstacle.  Life is filled with obstacles.  Photography is filled with challenges.  Each day normally presents a certain amount of trials and it is all in how you handle working through those situations that determine the outcome.

The outcome, if approached correctly, can be fantastic.  Include all voices and perspective.  Think if it's been a collaborative process and if the answer is yes - you probably have a winner product on hand.  Pure satisfaction and teamwork.   Success!!

Joshua strives for a collaborative process with all of his jobs - he's one of the team to make it happen.  We'd love to be teammates with you on your next project.

Blizzard 2015...............warm cocoa

This is for all my New Englander friends.............by now, you have probably ventured out into the snow and started to shovel, play or walk around to survey the sights.  I'm sitting inside enjoying my own warm beverage looking out the window at 30+" of snow with more falling.  I can take some time to review imagery and share some incredible pictures that Jim has taken.  This shot warms me up right away and probably does for you too!  Love hot chocolate, yum!

Your Choice.

The choice is yours, which path lies ahead.  You can cross the bridge and head into a potentially unknown territory or play it safe and never make the jump.  This morning, as you consider all of your options, will you stay in your comfort zone or might you take a chance.  There is a lot of opportunity out there.  Your choice.  Safe of get out there?

Make it STOP or not.

I haven't been blogging much lately - it's been more focused on a lot of different things.  That said, it's kind of a fun way to keep conversations going, so I'm hopping back into the saddle.  It's been a LONG winter, for many of us and it continues...........it's really not all that bad.  That's what I keep telling myself and you know what, it's true!  Snow can be a pain in the butt - all that shoveling and ice, cars getting stuck and people that slip and fall - it can also be quite beautiful, quite and clean - making everything bright and fabulous.  Look around and instead of asking for the snow to STOP - how about STOPPING to enjoy the beauty.

One more run?

Joshua really has found a passion in shooting all types of sports. He's an outdoor guy, that enjoys being with people and making really cool things happen. Think he's got a few more runs planned before the season is gone till next winter. And you?

Take a look at some of the projects that Joshua has been working on, maybe you all could hook up on a project - OR - find a compatible hobby?
